Children's Ministry

Children have always been very important to Jesus; and therefore, they should be vital in our ministry as a church. We at MRBC want you to know that we value and cherish the privilege of ministering to your children. It is also our desire to assist parents in building a solid spiritual foundation for your child. This includes loving, teaching, nurturing and caring for your child the way Jesus would care for them.

We offer several programs to minister to children in a variety of ways. Our Sunday School provides age-appropriate Bible teaching for children.  Our AWANA Club for children 3 years through the 6th grade provides a fun atmosphere for scripture memorization, activities, teamwork, and awards. Preschool and Children's Choirs give children an opportunity to learn music and express themselves musically in worship. Of course, Vacation Bible School is one of our big events, providing a week of fun, Bible lessons, crafts, refreshments and more each summer.

"KidMo! " is our children's worship time for 1st - 5th graders. They meet each Sunday during the 10:30 morning worship service. The children are dismissed from the sanctuary and are led by adult workers to their meeting room, upstairs in Building D. The kids enjoy a high energy worship service geared just for them with Bible stories, music, games and videos.

We also offer special events for kids, such as trips to the zoo, the U.S.S. Alabama, Fall Festival, and more!
